FAQ

Q. Do you provide new seat interiors with re-upholstery orders?

A. Yes we always replace seat interiors unless you say otherwise. We use one of the best foam grades on the market today, which is fully guaranteed. We also have a large selection of foam, feather and fibre seat interiors for you to choose from.

Q. Are frames checked and repaired if necessary?

A. Absolutely, all frames are checked and any loose joints are knocked apart and re-set. Any badly damaged wood is replaced with durable, sustainable hardwood which would be glued and screwed in place.

Q. Is delivery and collection extra?

A. All collections and re-deliveries are included in your quote.

Q. Do you provide free home visits?

A. Yes home visits are completely free within a 80 mile radius of our factory. We send out experienced upholsterers, we do not use commission based sales reps. Our upholsterers will know exactly how the upholstery is constructed and in most cases they will know the original manufacturer.

Q. Will you bring fabric samples to my home?

A. The representative who visits you will bring one of the biggest selections of fabrics in our trade, we have over 400 different fabrics in over a thousand colour ways from some of the UK’s top fabric houses including, Linwood, J.Brown, Jim Dickens, Marrone Ross.

Q. I do not live in your catchment area, can you provide a re-upholstery service for us?

A. Of course, the procedure is a little different though, we will ask you to either email us a picture of your furniture or if you know the make and model that would be great. Then if you have a colour in mind let us know and we will send out swatches in the colour tone you are interested in, in various types of fabric, if you are unsure of fabric/colour then have a browse of our gallery where you will find a huge selection of images in all manner of fabrics and colours we stock and maybe pick up some ideas to fit in with your decor. Once a fabric is selected we will either post or email you a quote.

Q. How long does the process take?

A. Well, we do have a waiting list which we do our best to keep at four weeks, before we can pick up your furniture. Once the furniture is collected it will be away for two to three weeks.

Q. Do you make bespoke/ custom made furniture?

A. yes we can manufacture anything, it could be a picture you have of something or it could be something to compliment your existing furniture. We can manufacture sofas chairs, headboards, storage stools, pouffes, all at highly competitive prices

Q. Can you make loose covers?

A. We can make loose covers for furniture that already has loose covers as they are designed to take a loose cover. We won’t make tailored covers for furniture that has not originally had one, as we feel its often an overly expensive poor alternative to re-upholstery, we have seen so many poor examples of tailored covers and its something we feel is unnecessary.

Q. Do you carry out repair work?

A. Yes, we can repair anything from a simple popped button to a collapsed frame. We can carry out repairs in situ, such as stitch repairs, but we generally bring most repairs into the factory for a proper repair.
